WALN NEUROSURGICAL ADVISORY PANEL
The WALN Advisory panel was conceived by our President, Dr. Bejjani. The mission of this panel is to provide a venue for members who are seeking professional advice regarding patient care or career decisions. The panel will be comprised of experienced members of WALN from all neurosurgical specialties and backgrounds. It will serve as a source of specific, concise, individualized answers to questions posed by WALN members, i.e. a kind of “Ask Jeeves” service for WALN members.
Questions may be submitted to the panel regarding patient care, research, career choices, and practice management. The question will then be directed to one or more Advisory panel members for reply. If the question is of general interest, the question and answer(s) may be published on the WALN website or in the WALN newsletter.
It is expected that the WALN advisory panel will provide accessible, good advice from colleagues. The advise is not to be construed as the practice of medicine (i.e. subject to litigation), nor should it be a source of divisiveness among WALN members.
I believe the WALN Advisory Panel will be a Valuable member benefit and demonstrate the breadth and depth of neurosurgical expertise WALN members possess. Please submit your questions to me at dmichael@voyager.net.
